Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and forge ("we") for the Forge app for Android, the Forge Coach app for Windows and the Forge service they connect to ("Forge"). By creating an account you agree to them, to the privacy policy and to the health disclaimer.

1. Who can use Forge

You must be 16 or older. You must give a true date of birth and an email address you control. One person, one account.

2. Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at matthewosborne1@live.com if you think someone else has used it.

3. Using Forge fairly

You agree not to:

• enter training you did not do, or otherwise cheat the game's rewards, records or leaderboards;
• use bots, scripts or modified apps, or try to get around limits, security or another person's privacy;
• harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or send unlawful, hateful or sexual content, including in coaching messages;
• pretend to be someone else, or use Forge for anything unlawful.

We may remove content, reset game progress gained unfairly, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

4. Coaching

Coaches are independent; they are not our employees or agents, and we do not check their qualifications. Any arrangement or payment between a coach and an athlete is between them. An athlete chooses what a coach can see by accepting an invitation and can end coaching at any time.

5. Your content

Your training records and messages stay yours. You let us store, process and display them only to run Forge for you and for the people you choose to share with, as described in the privacy policy.

6. The game

Colonies, resources, rewards and other game items have no money value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not your property. We may rebalance or change the game over time.

7. Price

Forge is currently free. If we add paid features, their price and terms will be shown to you before you buy, and nothing you already have will be taken away without notice.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Forge running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change or stop features. If we close Forge, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to get a copy of your training records.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account, or see how to delete your account).

10. Liability

Forge is not medical advice (see the health disclaimer). To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from exercise you choose to do. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia, Australia.
